Welcome From The Edwards Brothers
Hello. We are the Edwards brothers. Sidney
is home to us, our families and our colleagues. Growing up here has enriched our lives and
we feel so grateful for the opportunity to serve this community and it’s surrounding areas in a profession that we have not only felt called to do, but have grown to love.
After graduating from Lehman Catholic High School, we obtained business degrees from the University of Toledo (Aaron) and The Ohio State University (Erik) before both graduating from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. We began our careers apart, working in Bellefontaine (Aaron) and Columbus (Erik), but always had
it in mind to one day work together. When we were called by the Cromes’ with an opportunity to move back home, it was an answer to prayer.
The genealogical link between the Cromes and Edwards names seems to have closed a gap, as the Cromes’ have become more like immediate family to us. While we returned to Sidney with valuable insight and skills we had acquired, it was truly the guidance of the Cromes’ (Ralph and Gary), and their fathers, (Lloyd and Norris “Pug”), that have molded us into the funeral directors they believed we could be. It was at that time, in 2016 when they passed the torch, entrusting the family business to us - an honor we do not take lightly.
Alongside our highly trained colleagues we are continually implementing new ideas, challenging each other to improve, and always striving to provide the most meaningful and personalized experiences to the families we serve. Giving back to our community is very important to us, which we do every year by giving to various churches, schools, organizations and causes. Supporting our local home-grown businesses is also of great importance, as we make a concerted effort to
patronize local businesses, both as a business and in our personal lives. The desire and willingness to give back and patronize locally is often
absent from businesses. As business owners,
we consider it both a duty and a privilege. It is something we can all do to make Sidney/Shelby County grow, thrive and be an even greater place for our children and their children.
The Good Lord has truly blessed us with the best mentors, a community that has embraced us, and an exceptional staff of employees, each with similar stories, dedication to this vocation and unparalleled love for this community which we’re so fortunate to be a part of. If you have any questions, we would be more than happy to speak with you. Thank you for allowing us to serve you.
Warmest Regards, The Edwards Brothers
